Vivian Bay, Kawau Island

The project first started off as a small fixed wooden walkway structure to provide water access to pedestrians of the proposed development. As the discussions evolved the project soon grew to become a structure to allow vehicular and helicopter access and 154m long walkway over rocky outcrops and tidal flow areas.

Lidgard House, Kawau Island

The existing wooden wharf structure outside Lidgard House had deteriorated over time and was deemed unsafe. TMS were engaged to refurbish/rebuild a new wooden wharf to ensure the safety of any users. TMS undertook the responsibility to construct and design the wharf to ensure that it could be constructed within a realistic timeframe and met the necessary safety provisions.

Kawau Island Yacht Club

Bentzen Farms
Location : Kawau Island | Date: August 2007 - November 2007
This was a private installation which included two fixed wharfs and floating pontoon structures and a boat ramp. The ground conditions where the boat ramp was to be located was classified as being non structural and the boat ramp had to be constructed as an independent self supporting structure.
